Mazafati Dates Stuffed Croissants
2 ½ cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoon instant dry yeast
2 tablespoon sugar
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup milk
¼ cup oil
4 tablespoon butter
10 Mazafati dates for stuffing
Take a flour into a bowl, add yeast, sugar, salt and mix all these together then add milk and oil into the ingredients and mix.
Knead the flour for about 5 minutes, until the dough is soft and smooth, rub a little oil on the dough and place the covered dough for an hour to rest and then roll it out .
Brush the rolled out dough with melted butter and place another roll out piece of dough over it and keep stacking it, then roll out this entire stack of dough in a circle. Using knife, cut it in a triangles shape.
Make a small slit in the center of each triangle, add Mazafati dates to the wide end then roll the dough up.
Place croissants on a tray and bake it in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15 minutes, remove from the oven and serve.
